Up In The Air Mobile - Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Hello friends!  We're back today for another Artisan Design Team blog hop - the official design team of Stampin' Up!  You may be starting here with me, Shannon in Calgary, Canada, or you may have come from the brilliant Rochelle in Australia; either way, sit back and enjoy the hop!  We will have some fabulous projects to share with you today.

Our stamp set to work with this month was Lift Me Up, and those beautiful hot air balloons spoke to me and told me exactly what I needed to do; a mobile was the perfect way to use these beauties, and the coordinating Framelits with this stamp set make it SO easy!  Check it out.

With a couple of items purchased from a general store - an embroidery hoop, fishing line, and crimping beads - this mobile comes together easily with the beautiful stamps, framelits and embellishments from Stampin' Up!  I chose simple, unisex colours for my mobile - Real Red, Crushed Curry, Wild Wasabi, and Pacific Point, and used Whisper White and Vellum Cardstock for the die-cut pieces.  Because the shapes are die-cut with your big shot, they're all identical and can be "sandwiched" on the line with adhesive for a dual-sided shape.  Super easy!  The tiny metallic sequins and gold foil hearts bring this up a notch, and the beautiful Metallic Ribbon finishes it off beautifully.  The best part?  The metallic ribbon is free with a $60 purchase during Sale-A-Bration; and the Lift Me Up bundle combined with the Metallic Sequins brings you there!  Just add cardstock and ink and you're ready to create.

Now that you've stopped in Canada, let's head over to Germany to see what my friend Sylwia is sharing with us today!

Thank you so much for visiting me today - I hope you have a wonderful day!

Cheers,
Shannon
