Introducing the Celebration Time online class!  This one was SO fun to put together, and I want to share it with you for FREE with the purchase of the Celebration Time Bundle!

I had the pleasure of creating samples for a Stampin' Up! event using this set a few months before it was released, and I fell in love with it.  It's SO much fun, and the dies and stamps coordinate beautifully.  I had a blast playing with it, and I know you will too!

Seaside Summer Party - Message In A Bottle

This post originally appeared on the Scrapbooking & Cards Today blog.  All content herein is my own creation.

Hello friends - thank you so much for joining me today!  I’m so excited to share one of my favourite new stamp sets - Message In A Bottle - and some beautiful new Designer Series Paper, called Naturally Eclectic.

My son was recently invited to an end-of-school pool party, and it’s been all he could talk about for a week - when I sat down to create this project, that pool party was on my mind and this sweet stamp set was a perfect fit.  How cute and easy would it be to use Message In A Bottle to create an invitation and some party decor for a summer party?

We needed an invitation to start, of course.  I cut up a piece of the gorgeous Naturally Eclectic DSP for this beautiful faux-watercolour background.  It reminds me of the sea, so a frosted glass bottle and some whales came along for the ride.

Party favours are fun - these adorable Clear Mini Treat Boxes from Stampin’ Up! are quickly and easily embellished to fit the theme using DSP, ribbon, and stamped images - don’t you love that little octopus?

And you know what they say - a party without cake is just a meeting!  Cupcakes are extra special with a mermaid topper.  I love that I can create mermaids of different hair and skin tones using my Stampin’ Up! Classic Stampin’ Pads and a Blender Pen.  Wouldn’t it be adorable to match the mermaids to the birthday girl, or create one to look like each of her friends?

Thank you so much for stopping by today - I hope this gives you some easy ideas for a beautiful summer get-together!  You can hop over to my Online Canadian Stampin' Up! Store to shop 24/7 and get these fabulous goodies for yourself.

Cheers,
Shannon

Happy Birthday, Gorgeous - Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Hello friends!  Welcome to Calgary, Alberta, Canada for this week's Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop.  You've likely come from the lovely and incredibly talented Rochelle Blok in Australia; thanks for stopping by!  I won't keep you long, and you'll be off to Germany to visit Sylwia.  Please get comfortable and make your way around the world with us - we're happy to have you!

Today we are featuring a stamp set in the new Stampin' Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue that I didn't even notice at first glance; it slipped under the radar for me, and I'm so glad it was brought to my attention with this blog hop, because I absolutely love it!  I've used it several times already and each time, I fall deeper in love.  It's gorgeous.

My friends, this is Happy Birthday Gorgeous.  She's a beauty!

Et pour mes ami Francophone, c'est aussi disponible en Francais!

The images in this stamp set are both simple and few, but less is more when they work beautifully together to create a big impact.

A pretty birthday card with just a few sweet stamps is perfectly accompanied by a matching gift box.

The flowers and leaves layer beautifully, and the colour combinations are endless.  I've used Flirty Flamingo Bermuda Bay, and Emerald Envy for my stamped images with a touch of Lemon Lime Twist and Silver to accent.

Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper adds a fun pop of glitz to a card, and also creates a beautiful coordinating bow - just the right size to top a Clear Tiny Treat Box, and perfectly filled with some fun pink jelly beans.  How perfect is that for a gift or a party favour?  Yum!

Let's go see what magnificently lovely project Sylwia has for us today - I'm so excited to see all of the possibilities with this gorgeous stamp set!

All of the supplies used are from Stampin' Up!, and are available 24/7 in my Online Canadian Stampin' Up! store.  Don't forget the June ordering bonus - use host code VKJU2FK6 at checkout and receive a yard of brand-new Stampin' Up! ribbon for free with every $30 ordered (excludes shipping and tax.)

Thanks so much for visiting today - see you again soon!

Cheers,
Shannon

Display Stamper Blog Hop - Day NINE!

Hello, my friends!  I can't believe this Display Stamper blog hop is almost over; it's been a ton of work to photograph, blog, and write about all of these projects, but it's been a ton of fun and so lovely to see your response through views and pins.

We will have one more hop tomorrow, though, and I've been saving the best for last - you won't want to miss it.  Tomorrow's project is by FAR my favourite!

Today, though, I'm going to focus on packaging!  There are all kinds of new supplies featured on these three projects; how many can you spot?

Let's start with the bakery bag.

While the lovely Petite Cafe Gift Bags are retiring, you'll LOVE adding Wood Words stamp set to your collection (this set includes both the sentiment and the floral pattern!) as well as the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper (shown here in Fresh Fig) and Mini Sequin Trim!

The Scalloped Tag Topper punch makes a fantastic wrap for a cello treat bag, and you'll love accenting it with Gingham Ribbon (shown in Night of Navy) and the Wood Words stamp set (again, the floral motif and the sentiment.)  And don't you love the fresh combination of Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, and Night of Navy?  I told you: Lemon Lime Twist goes with everything!

And lastly, while the Gift Box Punch Board may be retiring, don't fret: you can still make adorable boxes with your Envelope Punch Board!  This one features the gorgeous Tranquil Tide cardstock, which pairs perfectly with Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla for your holiday creations.  I love the tag die-cut, from the Wood Crate Framelits; the sentiment, from Celebration Time, and the beautiful Tranquil Tide tassle from the Mini Tassles Assortment.

Let's hop over to Tanya and see what she's sharing today.  And don't forget to come again tomorrow!

A note about my product list below: as the brand new items are currently unreleased, I'm unable to link to them in my online store.  I recommend jotting down the names of your favourite items so you can check back when the 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Catalogue goes live on June 1st!  Others - like the Petite Cafe Gift Bags and This Christmas DSP - are retiring and only available while supplies last.  Hurry!  You don't want to miss out!

Cheers,
Shannon
