Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop - Introducing the 2016-2018 In-Colours!

Hello friends, and welcome to one of the most exciting Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog hops of the year - the one where we kick off the brand new annual catalog!  You'll want to make yourself comfortable because there are 20 demonstrators from around the world sharing some fabulous projects; and don't forget to use the translate button!

When a new catalog is launched, the first thing I want to see is the brand-new In-Colours - what's fresh, on-trend, and how they go with each other and everything else!  It's no secret that I'm a junkie for colour, so of course having five brand new ones is the best part of the new catalog!

I decided to whip up a set of simple cards with one of the new host stamp sets - Pun Intended - that showcase these In-Colours; Dapper Denim, Flirty Flamingo, Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach, and Sweet Sugarplum.  They pair off nicely together, and they're all gorgeous with existing colours, too - my instant-favourites were Flirty Flamingo and Dapper Denim; check them out together on the little crate these cards are stored in!

Let's hop over to Steffi Helmschrott in Germany next - can't wait to see what she's showcasing today!

Cheers,
Shannon

The new catalog is available and I KNOW you're ready for a shopping spree!  Please use this month's host code when shopping on my Online Canadian Stampin' Up Store.  Thanks!

Triple-Up Thursday: Hi!

Good morning!  It's been ages since I've done a Triple-Up Thursday post, so I wanted to bring one back (with an even-simpler twist: all the cards are the same this time!)

Triple-Up Thursday is a feature where I share three 3x3" cards made with bare-basics supplies; one stamp set and five inks.  Usually, I share three different cards, but I liked this one so much I just made three of them.  Plus, I've used this set before - for an intro to last year's In Colours - so no need to reinvent the wheel!

Making 3x3" cards is one of my go-tos when I'm in a creative slump - the smaller canvas is so much easier to tackle - and I always use them for small thank you notes, to tuck inside of a customer order, or just as a little treat to leave on a friend's desk or car windshield.  They're just fun.

Smaller is always cuter, too, isn't it??

(PS - retirement day is coming up quickly and a few items are already gone!  Don't miss out on these retiring favourites, linked below for your convenience.)

Cheers,
Shannon

Tiny Tea-Riffic Thank-Yous!

Hello friends!  I shared recently about my class for some fabulous Steeped Tea consultants... and tonight, I wanted to share something else I created to share with them!

These quick-and-easy thank you cards are perfect for tucking into orders- they come together in a flash, and are so bright and cheery!

See you in the morning - tomorrow is a double-post day, so be sure to check back!

Cheers,
Shannon

Triple Up Thursday: Love You Sew

Longest.  Week.  EVER.  Am I right?  This one has just dragged!  It is finally (only?) Thursday and I thought I'd do something this week that I haven't done in ages - Triple-Up Thursday!  This was a staple on my blog before the Artisan stuff started - since that is scheduled for Thursdays, I got out of the groove of this!

First time here?  Triple-Up Thursday is a simple concept - a set of three 3x3" cards made from basic supplies - one stamp set and five ink colours.  I tend to post projects with long supply lists, so once in a while I like to keep it simple - something for every level of stamper!

This week's feature set is the gorgeous Love You Sew, one of the host sets from the Occasions 2016 catalog.  You won't want to miss this one!  It is a host exclusive, so only available as the host of a workshop or party, or with an order of $200+.

Check it out!

Crazy cute, right?  I love the font and all of the little embellishments - the sequins are my favourite!

Here's what I whipped up with it.

This set is a total must-have for any crafter.  You'll want to snap it up before it's gone!

Cheers,
Shannon

Triple-Up Thursday: Wonderland

Hello, friends!  It's that time of the week again - Triple-Up Thursday is here!  (First time joining me?  Triple-Up Thursday is a weekly-ish feature where I share a set of three 3x3" cards made with a basic set of supplies - one stamp set and five ink colours.

This week's feature set is Wonderland.  It's no secret that I'm having a little love affair over here with this set - it's an absolute beauty!  I love it because it can be SO simple (as shown here) or SO glam (as I'll share with you soon on a lovely home decor piece I've made!)

Check out this week's cards:

I kept the colour pallet simple and earthy this week - Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow, and Old Olive - and let the beautiful images steal the show.  These cards came together in a flash but I'd still be happy to share them with a friend or family member - simply beauty!

See you tomorrow for TGIF Challenges - our first December Challenge is colour-based, and it's going to be awesome!

Triple-Up Thursday: Awesomely Artistic

Hello again and welcome back for another Triple-Up Thursday!

First time here?  Triple-Up Thursday is a weekly(-ish) feature on my blog where I share a set of three 3x3" cards I've created using a VERY pared down set of supplies; one stamp set and five ink colours.  Stamping doesn't need to be complicated or required a lot of supplies to be beautiful!

This week's feature is Awesomely Artistic - this set flew under my radar for a little while in the new catalog, and I hate to admit it was several months before I even noticed it.  (Let this be a lesson:  no, it's not crazy to just browse your catalog on a regular basis - I promise, you will always find new stuff!)  Once I found it, though, I had to have it.  What a beauty it is.

Here's what I came up with this week.

I often like to make a deliberate effort to pull out colours I don't often use; this was one of those days.  The colour pallet ended up being Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Rose Red, Elegant Eggplant, and Wild Wasabi.  All gorgeous, aren't they?  I really should branch out more often!

Here's a pinnable image for you if you'd like to save this colour combo.

Thank you so much for popping in today and checking out another Triple-Up!  I'll be back first thing Friday morning (or late tonight if you're a night owl like me) for this week's TGIF Challenge - see you then!
