Celebration Time - A Birthday Bundle from Me to You!

Hello friends!

Happy Saturday!  I wanted to use today to celebrate birthdays AND to launch my very first online class!  Today is my birthday, and what better way to kick off the big 3-4 than with a birthday class pack bundle?

Are you ready to check it out?  I've been working on this behind the scenes for the last few days, and I'm so excited to share it with you!  I hope you'll love it.

Introducing the Celebration Time online class!  This one was SO fun to put together, and I want to share it with you for FREE with the purchase of the Celebration Time Bundle!

I had the pleasure of creating samples for a Stampin' Up! event using this set a few months before it was released, and I fell in love with it.  It's SO much fun, and the dies and stamps coordinate beautifully.  I had a blast playing with it, and I know you will too!

Here are the details on this fabulous online class!

Your purchase includes:
  • Celebration Time bundle (stamp set and coordinating Framelits dies) in clear OR wood-mount from my Online Canadian Stampin' Up! store.  Please note you MUST use the host code XG72NK7W to receive the class pack!

Your DIY Project Kit includes:
  • Four exclusive projects - Two cards (one feminine, one masculine), One 3D Shaker Tag, and One Tiny Treat Box.
  • All of the cardstock, Designer Series Paper, Glimmer Paper, punched pieces, twine, ribbon and embellishments required to complete the projects.
  • Instructions and an exclusive video tutorial via email to walk you through the creation process.

In addition to the Celebration Time bundle purchased, you will require the following supplies to complete the projects as shown:
  • A Big Shot die-cutting machine
  • Snail or Fast Fuse adhesive (or similar)
  • Stampin' Dimensionals adhesive (or similar)
  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue ("Tombow") OR Fine-Tip Glue Pen (or similar)
  • Pool Party Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Flirty Flamingo Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Versamark pad
  • White Stampin' Emboss Powder
  • Heat Tool

What if I don't have these supplies?  If you need to purchase any additional supplies, they can be added to your order at the same time you purchase the bundle.  Alternately, substitutions can be made at your discretion.

What if I already have this bundle?  No problem!  Just purchase a minimum order of $62 retail (before shipping and taxes) in my Online Canadian Stampin' Up! store and use the host code XG72NK7W to receive the DIY Class Pack for free!

What if I live in Calgary?  If you live in Calgary and would like to save on your shipping fee, please email me at CrushOnColour@gmail.com - I will order your package with my end-of-month supply order so you can save on your shipping fee.  Your Celebration Time bundle and Project Kit can be picked up from my SE Calgary home.

DSP Cards for all levels - DSP Sale!

Hello friends!  It's Tuesday morning, we're all suffering from long-weekend withdrawal (or is that just me?) and it's cold out.  Sigh!  But... I couldn't NOT blog this morning as today is the very last day of Stampin' Up!'s World Card Making Day Sale!

There are two fantastic sales going on this month, and today is the last day that they overlap - meaning orders today in my Online Canadian Stampin' Up! Store will be able to take advantage of BOTH promotions, AND receive the monthly freebie (see the bottom of this post for the host code!)  It's a killer day to spoil yourself... which seems like a way better idea than working today, doesn't it?!

Yesterday I did a live video on my Facebook page where I showed just how versatile our Designer Series Paper (DSP) collections are (buy 3, get 1 free!) and how many cards you can make when paired with our notecards (save 15%!)  - you could easily make dozens of cards with a few packages of Notecards & Envelopes and one package of DSP, and if you're cashing in on those fabulous sales, you'll be saving money while doing it!  (Want to see all of the cards?  Don't miss another live video - hop over to my CrushOnColour Facebook Page and hit the "like" button to follow!)

This is the PERFECT sale for the beginner crafter - you can add a few basic supplies to your stash and they'll go a long way.  And better yet - you can bundle those cards up with some Bakers' Twine, like I did above, to create the perfect host gift!

But what if you're not a beginner?  Psh, as IF I don't have your back too.  The DSP sale is too good to miss, and the DSP is too pretty not to use.  Check out this card I made with the Painted Autumn DSP.

Not only does it provide perfect background and accent pieces, but you can cut your focal point right out of the paper - no stamps necessary!  (Although yes, I did sneak in that Burlap background stamp... I hadn't used it yet and it was too pretty to skip!)

The DSP Sale and the World Card Making Day sale ONLY overlap today, so hustle that booty over to my Online Stampin' Up! store and take advantage of it while you still can!

And hey!  Bonus time!

October Ordering Bonus:  During the month of October, orders placed online through my Canadian Stampin' Up! store using host code XG72NK7W will receive a FREE yard of Stampin' Up! ribbon for every $25 spent (excluding shipping and taxes.)

Thanks so much for stopping by today - see you again on Thursday morning for another fabulous Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop! another blog post!  Whoops, I'm getting a week ahead of myself already!

Cheers,
Shannon

Holidays in 3D - Fancy Friday Blog Hop

Hello friends!  I'm joining you today with my Fancy Friday friends from around the globe - whether you're starting with me or you've come from the previous blog, welcome to beautiful Calgary, Alberta, Canada!  I'm Shannon - it's nice to meet you!

Our theme this month for Fancy Friday is "Holidays in 3D."  When I sat down to work on this project, I started thinking back to my childhood and what special traditions made the holidays special to me.  I immediately thought of a special family friend who, every year, would give my brother and I a special gift.  This gift was always a pretty tin or bucket, decorated beautifully, and filled with special trinkets.  The gifts inside were never expensive or fancy - plastic bracelets for me, toy cards for my brother, and candy galore - but those special buckets were the BEST gifts to open.  I have such fond memories of those amazing little buckets and all the joy and love they had packed into them!

As I thought back on this memory, I remembered that a few months ago, I picked up some adorable clear paint cans at the dollar store - I had no plan for them, but they were too cute to resist - and knew exactly what to make!

This year, I'm going to carry on this tradition by filling this adorable bucket with tiny toys and dropping it off with a friend's child or a neighbour - what a fun way to bring a dash of christmas to a little one.  It doesn't need to be expensive - homemade and heartfelt make a big impact.

By adding some simple patterned paper from the Merry Little Christmas DSP, a few stamps, a punched silver bow, and some ribbon, these supplies from Stampin' Up! take this bucket from simple to special.

Let's hop over to my Fancy Friend Cathy Caines in Newfoundland and see what she's whipped up for us today!

September Ordering Bonus:  During the month of September, you'll receive a FREE sampler of Holiday 2017 DSP from Stampin' Up! with orders of $50+ (before shipping and taxes) in my Online Stampin' Up! store, using host code EPJS6XKM - this offer is valid until September 30th, 2017, and only in Canada.  Don't miss out!

Thanks so much for stopping in today - see you again soon!

Cheers,
Shannon
