Grow a Wonderful Life - Abstract Expressions

Hello friends!  Happy mid-week - I'm just wrapping up my work week and writing this post in the wee hours of the morning before I go to bed!

Today's feature is a whole lot out of my comfort zone, but it's nothing I can't add some bright, fun colours too!  This beautiful stamp set is called Abstract Expressions, and it's full of soft elements that look like they've been painted, so you can layer and create to your heart's content!

I've paired it with the coordinating Garden Impressions Designer Series paper to create this bright and beautiful wedding card, perfect for a modern couple.  And aren't those little whisps of ribbon lovely?

Inside, I've added a coordinating sentiment to complete the card:

I snuck that one out of Beautiful Bouquet - it was too perfect to pass up!

Hey Kid! - Treehouse Adventure

Good morning, friends!  Friday is here and I'm sure I'm not the only one who's exhausted at the end of this week!  School is back in session and we are getting back to a routine around our house.

Today I'm sharing a card that I made for our son's first day of school.  His dad and I each wrote a note in it and I stuck it in his lunchbox - when I picked him up after school, the first thing he said was "I loved the letter you guys gave me!"  He also told me about six times that night how he wishes he had a treehouse just like this one - don't we all?!

This adorable card is straight out of the catalogue, and with the help of some fantastic layered stamps, comes together in a flash with a lot of fun.  I loved designing this little treehouse and choosing all of the colours for the card - it's interior design meets stamping!

This adorable treehouse stamp set, complete with darling sentiments in a fun and bold font, is called Treehouse Adventure, and it's available in the 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.  It's a PERFECT stamp set for kids cards!

Speaking of perfect cards for kids, check out this month's CrushOnColour Project Pack!

You're On Fire - Magical Day

Hi friends!  I'm back today with another set of retiring favourites - sigh!  It's the season of saying goodbye, but it's okay, I promise - the season of saying HELLO! is right around the corner, with the new catalogue being launched on June 1st.  I'll be giving you the first introduction to the upcoming Stampin' Up! catalogue on the blog tomorrow, but not before we give some love to this retiring favourite - Magical Day.

This stamp set and Designer Series Paper were an instant favourite for SO many people - and with adorable characters, fun patterns, and bright colours, who can blame them?!  I've used the mermaids and the unicorns before, but this was my first time showing that dragon some love.  He colours up beautifully with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers for a fabulous shaded look - and it's SO easy, I promise!

One of the most fun things about this card was getting to play with Brusho Watercolour Crystals - these fabulous little bits of colour burst and pop when they contact water, creating a one-of-a-kind look every time.  They're a blast to play with!  I used Brusho on this card to create the dark blue circle behind the dragon, as well as the burst of flames - so fun!

Thankfully, Brusho is sticking around in the upcoming Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, but so many of our favourites here are not!  We will be saying goodbye to the Magical Day stamp set and coordinating Magical Mates Framelits Dies, as well as the Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper.  It's also curtains for the washi tape, black thread, Tangerine Tango, AND the Diagonal Stripe Background Stamp shown here!  Yikes!

Most supplies on the retiring list are only available while supplies last, and they've already started selling out!  Check out the links below, make a shopping list, and head over to my Online Canadian Stampin' Up! Store to get shopping while selection is still available!

See you again soon - have a fabulous day!  Don't forget to stop in tomorrow for a first look at brand new and unreleased Stampin' Up! supplies from the upcoming 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue - I can't wait to share them with you!

Pop, Fizz, Yay! - Bubble Over

Good morning, friends, and happy Saturday!  I hope you're having a lovely morning - I suspect I'm still sleeping (as I'm typing this on Friday night - no sense getting up early!)

Today's card is another fabulous stamp set from the just-released Stampin' Up! Occasions 2018 Catalogue - and it's another favourite!  This catalogue is right up my alley, with lots of fun patterns and bold, bright designs - but there's truly something for everyone, too, with a wide selection of florals, animals, masculine, and more!  It's a GREAT catalogue.

Todays stamp set is called Bubble Over.

Not only is this stamp set a favourite of mine because of the fabulous pop (or beer) bottles and fun sentiments, but it fits two of my other favourite criteria, too - matching Framelits dies, and coordinating Designer Series Paper!  It makes it so darn easy to create when everything goes together.  And that Designer Series Paper?  It's FREE with a purchase of $60.  My favourite f-word!

On my last blog post, I talked about Brusho Crystal Colour - this card features the same product in a totally different way.  The ombre circle in the background was created with Brusho as well!  A bunch of water, a few shakes of yellow and red Brusho, and it blends into perfection.  It's such a cool addition to my stampin' supplies.

There's also a sneaky little stamp from Birthday Wit on here, as well as the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper... which leads me to mention my Birthday Wit Project Pack again!  We're down to the final 10 days to receive this project pack for FREE, and I'd hate for you to miss out!

This project pack is exclusively designed for my CrushOnColour customers!  I can't wait to share it with you.  With the purchase of Birthday Wit and other supplies totalling $60, you'll receive the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper FREE - enter the host code M9VZJA6J at check-out and I'll send you the cardstock supplies and detailed instructions to create SIX cards - two each of three designs.

This project pack is only available until January 31st, so don't miss out!  CLICK HERE for details on the Birthday Wit Project Pack from CrushOnColour.com!

Thanks so much for stopping in today - I can't wait to see you again soon!

Speaking of the new year, a new month brings a new host special! With the new Occasions Catalogue AND Sale-A-Bration being released this month, I thought I'd sweeten the pot of the bonus you'll receive from Sale-A-Bration with a $60 order...

January Host Special:  During the month of January 2018, orders of $60+ retail (before shipping and tax) from my Online Canadian Stampin' Up! Store will receive a sampler pack of products from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue.  Must use host code 9QSNAB2J to redeem this offer!  This offer cannot be combined with Project Packs from CrushOnColour. com.
