Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop - Moroccan Trio

Hello friends - welcome back for another Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop - we are sharing the Moroccan Nights suite in conjunction with the Duet Banner Punch and Thoughtful Banners stamp set.  You are likely coming from my lovely friend Rachel in France, you're with me (Shannon) in Canada, and you'll be off to see Steffi in Germany next - please take the time to hop around the world with us!

The Moroccan Nights suite was an unexpected surprise for me.  I'll be honest - it wasn't something that stood out or caught my eye when I first saw it, but once I got my paws on it, I couldn't stop playing with it!  I've completely fallen in love with the stamp set and the Designer Series Paper.

Whipping up three cards turned out to be a total breeze - everything coordinates beautifully together and whether you're using one colour, two colours, or five, the suite comes together in a total work of art!

I started with one simple, monochromatic card featuring rich and beautiful Delightful Dijon.

My second card is almost identical, but using two colours - the bright and bold Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim, two of the 2016-2018 In-Colours!

Isn't it amazing how the same card can be transformed from rich and luxurious to bright and bold, simply by changing the colour scheme?

Lastly, I wanted to incorporate more of the colours... plus the embellishments, including a stack of washi tape banners!

This last card was so fun to create, and I love that the sentiment could be changed to virtually ANYTHING because of the vast selection of words in Thoughtful Banners!  You Are Inspiring could be You Are Fabulous, Blessed, Crazy, Carefree, or Sweet.  The mix-and-match coordinates with this stamp set lead to endless possibilities - I just love it!

Next up is Steffi in Germany - let's hop over and see what she has for us today!

Thank you so much for visiting today, and I'll see you again soon!

Cheers,
Shannon

  1. Each of these is gorgeous but I do just LOVE the one with all the colour! You have such amazing talent for bringing colour together Shannon! The washi tape banners are such a fun embellishment and that touch of copper is just perfect!
