Introducing NEW Host Sets - Artfully Folded

Hello friends!  It's the end of the week, and I've got one more post up my sleeve!  I've spent the first week introducing you to a few of my favourite things - Monday was In Colours, Tuesday was the Sea of Textures Suite, Thursday was the Colour Revamp, and today, I'm featuring Host Stamp Sets!  While this is the last post of the week, there's still PLENTY more to share and many more posts to come this year - we're just getting our feet wet! 

In each and every Stampin' Up! Catalogue, there is a small selection of beautiful stamp sets that are exclusively reserved for our hosts.  These gorgeous sets are available with orders of $200+ (even if that's just your order!) for a discounted rate.  As a demonstrator, I'm able to purchase them early - so let me introduce you to Artfully Folded!

This beautiful stamp set features gorgeous origami shapes in different styles and sizes - they can be stamped in outline or filled in with colour - plus a few other decorative elements, and a gorgeous sentiment.

Do you remember that sentiment on the card I shared yesterday?  I told you I'd tell you where it was from!  "Be your own kind of beautiful" is small and sweet, and stands alone as the only sentiment in this beautiful set. 

On this card, I paired Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, and Grapefruit Grove with Whisper White for a soft and sweet effect.  I love that the "Happy Day" sentiment, from the brand new "Itty Bitty Greetings" stamp set, could be used for a wedding, a birthday, or any other occasion!

Say Hello to... New Colours!

Hello again, my friends!  I'm having so much fun sharing fabulous new products from the just-released 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Catalogue this week.  On Monday, I shared the brand new In Colours, on Tuesday I shared my favourite suite, Sea of Textures, and today, I want to talk about the Colour Revamp!  

I made this sweet and simple card to share some of my most-favourite new and returning colours to the Stampin' Up! family - aren't they gorgeous?!

But wait - what exactly IS a Colour Revamp?  Stampin' Up! said out with the old and in with the new this year, removing some dated colours and replacing them with brand new tones and past In Colours that made a glorious comeback.  While they were at it, they rejigged the colour families, moving things around to create the perfect spectrums! 

Let's have a peek...

Starting with the Brights family, you'll see three returning favourites (including my most favourite colour of all time, Coastal Cabana!) and three brand new shades.  60% of the Brights family is new!  Isn't the new spectrum gorgeous?!  It's the perfect rainbow.

Did you notice that Real Red is gone from the Brights family?  It's a perfect example of a colour that was moved - it's still here, but it's moved over to the Regals!

And I have to say, I think Real Red looks beautiful in this new family!  The Regals Collection also features the return of ultra-popular Blackberry Bliss, plus the gorgeous new Shaded Spruce.  Love!

Moving on to Subtles, we'll notice it's brightened up a bit but is still as soft and delicate as ever.

We have FOUR brand new colours joining the Subtles family, and another shade - Mint Macaron - that is back by popular demand!  Aren't they gorgeous together?!

And last but not least, the Neutrals - our stamping staples, the backbone of our projects!

 You'll notice things are looking a little more colourful here!  Stampin' Up! noticed that dark, rich tones of red, green, and blue were used as base colours on the regular, so into the Neutrals family they go!  Night of Navy has moved over here, and we're happy to introduce Merry Merlot and welcome back Mossy Meadow.

This year's Colour Revamp has breathed new life into my colour collection - I am head over heels for the new and returning colours, and I'm having so much fun playing with all of the new combinations!

Today's card makes great use of two returning shades, a new shade, and an old favourite - with simple strips of cardstock in Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, and Poppy Parade, this card whips up in a flash and packs a major punch of colour!

And that lovely sentiment?  Well... we'll get to that tomorrow!  There is LOTS more on deck as I continue to share what's new in the 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Catalogue!

Milestone Birthday? Heck Yes! - Great Big Greetings

Hey friends!  I'm a day behind on blogging this week - whoops, I missed Friday!  I was sedated for a medical test on Thursday night and was groggy beyond belief yesterday... if I had blogged, it probably wouldn't have made much sense anyway! 

Today's card is PERFECT for a milestone birthday - have a friend with the big something-0 coming up soon?  I've got you covered!  This fun colour pallet is great for my recipient, but can easily be changed up to fit anyone in your life.  

This fantastic, bold, fun sentiment is from Great Big Greetings, as is the "yay" in the background - the only addition is that tiny birthday cake, added in from a host exclusive set - another one you won't want to miss, called You're Delightful.  So much fun!

Wonderful Day - In The City

Good morning, friends, and happy Thursday!  Tomorrow is a day off for our whole family - are you in the same boat?  We're looking forward to a long weekend ahead.  

Today's card is a bright and fresh one using a Host set from the 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.  

It's so easy to forget about the Annual when the Holiday Mini is out and the Occasions Mini is just around the corner, but there are so many great sets in there that deserve love all year 'round!  I love this sweet set - available exclusively to party hosts or single orders totalling over $200 in retail sales - to welcome a new friend to the block.  Wouldn't it be a treat to receive this after moving to a new neighbourhood?

Yeah - neighboUrhood.  This set has BOTH SPELLINGS.  My Canadian heart is extra happy.
