Mother's Day Tea - Tea Together

Hello friends!  Happy to be stopping in with a new blog post today.

Spectacular Celebration - Birthday Cheer

Hello friends, and happy Friday!  I hope your weekend is off to a lovely start!

Today's project is a bright, fun, and cheery birthday card - perfect for a man, woman, or child!  These gorgeous colours work beautifully together for just about anyone, and the stamps, from the brand new set called Birthday Cheer, are SO fun!

So Happy - Amazing Life + Rectangle Stitched Framelits

Hello friends!

Happy new year!  January is here, which means it's the best time of year for us crafty folks - the 2019 Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalogue has arrived, and Sale-A-Bration has come along with it!

As I usually do with a new catalogue, I wanted to start by sharing a sample from my most favourite bundle - this one is called Amazing Life, and it comes with the brand new Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies!

Not only are the stamps gorgeous, fun, and super versatile, but the Rectangle Stitched Framelits are REALLY cool.  The stitching is on the outside AND the inside of the die-cut shape, so you can use them to cut out frames or pieces, and both parts are stitched!  I'll have an upcoming Project Pack with this fabulous bundle, so keep your eyes peeled for that - it won't be long! 

I've been spending a lot of time quilting lately, and these stitched shapes had me wanting to create a scrappy quilted background with a fun combo.  I love the fresh, masculine look of Blueberry Bushel, Smoky Slate, Crushed Curry, and Coastal Cabana together with the crisp Whisper White background.
