Hello friends! Thanks for stopping by for another Artisan Design Team Blog Hop - if you're not starting with me, welcome to Calgary, Canada - sit back and enjoy the rest of the hop around the world!
Today's project comes to you from a few weeks back - I mentioned a while ago that I started on a piece of home decor and then set it aside and changed directions completely. Sometimes I just need a little extra time to figure something out, and this was one of those projects.
My original idea with this was to make a menu board for the holidays. So what made me change my mind? My handwriting! I hate my own handwriting and having it featured so prominently on a project made me not want to share it with anyone. But how easy is it to slip a photo on this instead?! Perfect! Got a big holiday meal coming up this month? Put your menu board over the photo and feature it for everyone to see. Why not? Multi-purpose crafts are the best!
Circles punched with the Petals & Paisleys DSP, folded in half, and adhered to a piece of cardstock make up the base of this frame, and a few easy embellishments complete it.
Pretty designs cut from the same paper, bits of ribbon, some copper foil paper, and a simple sentiment stamp. How easy is that?
A big burlap bow adds a nice rustic touch - perfect for fall.
Thanks for stopping in today - please continue with the blog hop and see what Steffi has for us today!
I hope you enjoy our projects - happy crafting!
Cheers,
Shannon
