Before that, though, I want to share a collection of cards I've been whipping up with my retiring supplies; mostly using up my DSP!
This first card appeared on the Stampin' Up! Corporate Blog this past Monday as part of a series of masculine cards using Guy Greetings. While the stamp set is sticking around, the Typeset DSP is not! This is one of my all-time favourite products. You won't want to miss out on it!
Another stamp set sticking around is Balloon Celebration; I just love the sentiments in this one, and that sweet bow!
What's going, though, is the It's My Party washi tape, the Black Embossing Powder, and the Hearts Border Punch. Check out the pop of Flirty Flamingo on this card - isn't it sweet? Instant-favourite!
Another retiring DSP is Birthday Bouquet; these perfect pennants make for a cheery baby card for a little lady. The Watermelon Wonder and White Satin ribbons are also retiring, as are the little bits and pieces from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit.
And while I was at it, I cranked out a similar card in a "boy" version; the Schoolhouse DSP makes for a perfect background.
Don't miss the Pool Party Glitter Ribbon, scallop punch, or Candy Dots!
Wedding season is just around the corner, so I used some of my Fancy Vellum and Love Blossoms DSP, combined with First Sight stamp set - yes, all retiring! - to create a sweet wedding card.
The sequins in Blushing Bride are from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit - and honestly, they're worth the price alone! Sooo pretty!
Last but not least, I want to share a sneak peek of a BRAND NEW stamp set - this one is called Confetti Celebration, and it has you covered for fun and bold birthdays - and that fabulous swirly framelit is from Swirly Bird! I've used the "Hooray" sentiment from Confetti Celebration, and paired it with more retiring favourites to create the bright birthday card. Everyday Chic DSP, Candy Dots, Baker's Twine Combo Pack, Fancy Foil Vellum, and White Satin Ribbon are all on their way out!
They're a perfect combo with this stamp set and make for a fabulous birthday wish, so you'll want to add them to your stash for sure!
I hope I've inspired you to use some of your retiring goodies; better to use them up than to stash them away and forget about them!
Make this a GREAT week to use your old favourites before it's time to order the new - the countdown is on!
Cheers,
Shannon
