So Grateful - Country Home + Rooted In Nature

Hello friends!

I'm so glad to be back after a much-needed hiatus. While I may have been MIA from the blog the last few weeks, there's been lots of work going on behind the scenes - and I can't wait to share it all with you!

Today's card is a hybrid of two beautiful autumn-themed sets - Rooted In Nature and Country Home. And with a fresh and bright colour combination of Lemon Lime Twist, Very Vanilla, and Copper, it brings a whole new look to fall!

I love that this card brings a fresh take on the season. What's your autumn style - traditional or modern?

Thank You - Accented Blooms

Hey friends, and happy Friday! I'm at the tail end of a couple of days off and am starting up another work week tonight. Had to make sure I popped in and shared a project before I disappear into the abyss of shift work!

Today's card is another from my stash of previous projects - thank goodness I always have a stash for busy times like this, eh?

I wanted to combine crisp, bold black and whites with some pops of colour for this one. Mission accomplished, I'd say! The watercolour background is a blend of Coastal Cabana, Pineapple Punch, Lovely Lipstick, and Granny Apple Green on Shimmery White cardstock, and I love how it offsets the dramatic black and white sentiment from Accented Blooms. So pretty! This card looks complicated but comes together in a flash. Throw a few rhinestones on to jazz it up, and you're done!

Celebrate - All The Good Things

Hello friends! Happy Monday - I hope your week is off to a dreamy start! I'm up to my eyeballs in work lately but still trying to check in when I get a chance - I'm writing this on Sunday night before bed! :)

Today's card is a fun favourite I've had socked away for a few weeks - this one was a special request from a customer, who needed a pretty anniversary card. I pulled this sentiment from "Labels to Love," which goes to show you can use the holiday stamps all year round!

This card is bathed in metallics, isn't it?! I loved the gold on the koi fish so much that I had to work it into the rest of the card - with four separate gold elements, I hope I didn't go overboard! Ha!
