Deck the Halls - Christmas Sweaters

Hello friends!  We are in the countdown to christmas - less than a week until the big day - and I have a super fun pair of cards to share with you today.

Colouring the ugly christmas sweaters in the Christmas Sweaters stamp set has been so much fun with the new Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  Which do you like better - the red sweater with green Santa, or green sweater with red Santa?  Why not make both?!

This is my LAST holiday post for 2017 - I'll have a few all-occasions cards to share over the holidays, and then January will launch with a BANG! as the new 2018 Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalogue is released!

In the meantime, don't forget to check out the year-end sale - lots of items are being discontinued and many are on sale!  Christmas Sweaters will be gone, and I know you'll want to keep it for you stash - don't miss out!  Per usual, shopping links and host code info are below.  Treat yo'self!

See you again tomorrow,

But wait!  Before you sneak off,  check out what else is going on this month!

Merry Cafe - Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Hello friends!  Welcome to the very last blog hop of the 2017 Artisan Design Team.  Whether you're coming from Rochelle in Australia or starting with me, Shannon in Calgary, Canada, welcome aboard!   We are wrapped up December (and 2017!) with Merry Cafe!

This stamp set was an instant favourite for a lot of people - those adorable coffee cups, the sweet sentiments, the fun Christmas imagery - how could it not be?!

I paired bright Real Red with modern Emerald Envy and classic Gold for a fresh and fun holiday card - and as I aim with most of my cards this at this time of year, something that is non-denomenational, non-specific, and perfect for any giver or recipient.  My favourite!

After all, everyone has their favourite Cuppa. :)

Let's hop over to Sylwia in Germany next.  Sylwia is returning for another year on the Artisan Design Team!  Make sure to drop her a hello if you're new, and a congratulations if she's a returning favourite - I know she's one of mine!

Speaking of the new 2018 Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team, it's time for us to pass the reigns onto next year's team.  It's been a slice, my friends, but my time here is done!  Allow me to introduce...

Best Time of the Year - Christmas In The Making

Good morning, sunshines!  I'm probably definitely sleeping while this is being posted, and maybe most likely still asleep while you're reading this... this week has kicked my butt something fierce and I plan on spending most of this weekend in bed with weights on my eyelids.  But if you're more ambitious and you're tackling the holiday cards today, don't worry - I've got a bit of inspiration for you!

I've noticed over the last few posts that most of the cards I post are generally nondenominational winter holiday cards - creating in "general" terms makes it easy to send the card to any recipient, no matter their faith or celebrations at this time of year.  I love the sentiment in Christmas In The Making for that exact reason - with dozens of religious and non-religious holidays in November through January, it really IS the best time of the year!

Wood Textures DSP adds a bit of a rough and rustic touch to what would otherwise be a rather feminine card - it balances out the red gingham, doily, and gold sequins!  I love this card for any recipient.  It reminds me of being snowed in at a cottage in the mountains... which is weird, since that's never happened to me!  :)

Check out the links below to view these products in my online Canadian Stampin' Up! store.  It's a GREAT weekend to get those holiday cards ready - happy crafting!
