Sending Lots of Love

Good morning, friends!  I hope your day is off to a fabulous start.

Today's card is one that's been waiting in the wings for a couple of weeks - I was asked to make a special card with Stampin' Up!'s CEO, Sara Douglass, in mind.  This beauty will be displayed in the Legacy Room at the Stampin' Up! Home Office in Riverton, Utah.

Sara's style is black and white with pops of her favourite colours and bits of metallics - and that's what I set out to create!  She loves Soft Sky, Berry Burst, and Lemon Lime Twist, and she's huge into handlettering, all of which I pulled together as elements in this fun card.  This was the first time I'd used the Lots of Love stamp set, and I had so much fun with it!

Of all of the fun elements on this card, though, I think my favourite touch is the peek of metallic silver hexies popping out from behind the sentiment.

Those adorable hexies and the diagonal stripe background are both from the Perfect Days Memories & More Card Pack - it's for more than just pocket scrapbooking!

In other news, October is coming to an end, which means it's the last chance for a few offers:

Stampin' Up!'s DSP sale is on for only a few more days - now is the time to stock up on Designer Series Paper and get every fourth package for FREE!

As well, the Celebration Time DIY Project Kit is now available, but only until end-of-day on October 31st!  Click here to check out the details.

And last but not least, this month's ordering bonus - and yes, you can combine it with the Celebration Time DIY Project Kit as well!

October Ordering Bonus:  During the month of October, orders placed online through my Canadian Stampin' Up! store using host code XG72NK7W will receive a FREE yard of Stampin' Up! ribbon for every $25 spent (excluding shipping and taxes.)

See you again tomorrow for some halloween fun!
