Blended Bloom friendship card

Just another quick pop-in with another easy card!  I'm getting my house prepped for Christmas this weekend and will be sharing my Tiny Treat Box Advent Calendar on Monday, so make sure to check back!  Lots of holiday fun coming up soon!

This card is a real show-stopper in person.  The Blended Bloom stamp is a stunner - with our Blendabilities alcohol markers, creating a gorgeous focal point is easy and simple.  And in so many colour options!  It was actually really hard to pick a set to use, but I decided on Rich Razzleberry for the petals, Daffodil Delight for the centre, and Old Olive for the leaves.  So easy, so fun, and so beautiful.

Add a few splatters (these ones were done with the splatter stamp from the original Paper Pumpkin kit) and a sentiment, and you're done!  Ta-da!

See you again in two days to kick off December!  Eek!

Groovy Love and Gorgeous Grunge

I'm just popping in for a minute to share a quick and easy card!  Our monthly team challenge was a sketch this time around - I interpreted with a masked area, messed it up with Gorgeous Grunge, and added a heart, a sentiment, and a couple of embellishments - what could be easier?

The Stampin' Up Grid Paper is perfect for masking off areas like this.  Fold it back over itself, lining it up with the lines and leaving a gap your desired size, then slip your card front in and go to town.  Super simple!

Triple-Up Thursday - Yee-Haw!

It's Thursday and I've been able to sneak in the time this week - so excited for another Triple-Up Thursday!  (First time to the blog?  Triple-Up Thursday is a feature where I choose one stamp set, five ink pads, a few scraps of cardstock and a couple of embellishments to create three 3x3 cards!

This week, I'm rootin' tootin' excited to feature Yee-Haw, y'all!

My five colours this week were Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Tangelo Twist, and Island Indigo - just the right mix of rustic western with bold and bright.  So fun!

Those minimal embellishments?  Burlap ribbon, linen thread, and candy dots.  That's it!

You don't need a ton of supplies to create fabulous cards - keep it simple, keep it creative, and keep it FUN!

Have a great weekend!
